Economic Laser Welding Head

Advantages Of Economic Laser Welding Head
Cost-effectiveness
Economic laser welding heads offer a lower initial investment cost compared to premium models, making them accessible to businesses with budget constraints or those seeking a cost-effective solution for their welding needs.
Ease of use
Economic laser welding head has the advantages of simple operation, fast speed, deep penetration, small welding deformation, and high welding yield of different materials. This is true even for operators with minimal technical expertise.
Easily weld
Economic laser welding head can easily weld 0.2-3mm stainless steel, aluminum alloy and other high hardness alloy materials. Infrared positioning is used to calibrate the position of welding joints and verify the position during welding. The welding positioning is more accurate.
Reduced downtime
With their straightforward design and reliable operation, economic laser welding heads help minimize downtime in production environments, contributing to increased productivity and efficiency.

What are the Welding Parameters of Economic Laser Welding Head?
Welding parameters in economic laser welding head are the specific settings that control the laser power, welding speed, beam diameter, pulse duration, and repetition rate. Laser power determines the energy delivered to the weld joint, while welding speed affects heat input and the size of the heat-affected zone. Beam diameter determines energy concentration while pulsing duration and repetition rate control melting and solidification. Proper selection and optimization of welding parameters are crucial for achieving desired weld characteristics such as strength and quality.
Welding Process of Economic Laser Welding Head
The actual welding process involves directing the laser beam along the joint to melt and fuse the materials. A coherent energy source emits a high-energy beam. The beam passes through a delivery path of mirrors to a series of lenses and focuses on a specified spot on the workpiece. As the beam hits the workpiece, localized heating and rapid melting of the joint area occur. Proper execution of this step is essential for achieving strong and reliable welds with minimal distortion. The welding process ensures high-quality bonds between materials.
How to Optimize the Weld Performance of Economic Laser Welding Head?
After the application of heat, the molten metal begins to cool down. The cooling rate affects the weld’s microstructure and mechanical properties. As the metal cools, it solidifies, forming a strong bond between the workpieces. Proper cooling and solidification are essential for achieving desired weld characteristics and minimizing residual stresses. Techniques like post-weld heat treatment or cooling devices can be employed to control the cooling rate and optimize the weld’s properties. Ensuring controlled cooling and solidification enhances the overall integrity and strength of the weld.

Economic laser welding head is an effective method. The laser beam’s concentrated heat source enables precise and localized melting, resulting in reduced heat-affected zones and less distortion. High welding speeds are another benefit of laser welding, which makes it appropriate for automated and large-scale manufacturing processes.
How To Maintain Economic Laser Welding Head
Regular Cleaning
Establish a strict cleaning routine to protect the optical components and laser delivery system from performance-diminishing contaminants. Pay careful attention to optical surfaces to ensure they remain pristine and free from dust, debris, or contaminants that could lead to scratches or permanent damage.
Optics Inspection
The quality of the laser beam is intrinsically tied to the condition of the optics. Regularly assess the state of the laser optics, including mirrors and lenses. Promptly replace any damaged or worn-out optics to maintain the optimal laser beam quality, ensuring consistently high-quality welds.
Calibration And Alignment
Follow the guidelines for regular laser beam calibration and alignment. Misaligned beams can result in subpar welds and potential damage to the Economic Laser Welding Heads, making adherence to these guidelines imperative.
Lubrication
Apply lubricant to the moving parts of the welding head, such as bearings and guide rails, to ensure smooth and reliable movement during operation. Follow recommendations for the type and frequency of lubrication.
Things to Note When Using Economic Laser Welding Head
Wear protective clothing and gloves and must wear protective glasses when near the laser beam. (There is no need to wear goggles beyond 5 meters, but please do not look directly into the laser beam). The beam may cause irreversible damage to the retina and/or cornea. Appropriate and approved laser safety glasses must be worn at all times when working with lasers. If any abnormality is found during the welding process, the machine should be stopped immediately to eliminate it.
